Found this one near Ipswich for a fraction of what it would have cost new. Got it ship shape in time for the Summer 2018 Adriatic run, Croatia, Slovenia, the lot. Cracking trip.

We did a lot of European miles in the 649.
We did a lot of European miles in the 649. We found it near Ipswich, got it ship shape, and by Summer 2018 we were in Croatia and Slovenia. The rear lounge layout and the overall size of it worked well for us as a family.
This was our first Kon-Tiki, and it set the template. We went back to the range four years later with the 874 for good reason, we knew what we were getting. The 649 is a nice big layout and it did exactly what it said on the tin across nearly four years of ownership.
Would we buy it again? Yes. And if you can find one in decent condition, and the rear lounge layout works for you, we highly recommend it.
